Well, I have to jump in the water here it seems so inviting. When did rotreping news as a job become aligned with voicing an opinion? The quality of journalism practiced by so called professionals' is so far removed from what we used to get on television by real reporters who were held to a higher standard, it is staggering.When a reporter crosses the line and provokes others through antagonistic comments, speculation, derisive views and unsubstantiated claims it can only serve as a beacon that this individual lacks any clear judgement and most likely suffers from other psychological challenges such as lack of self esteem, craving public attention and a multitude of other misguided and unfortunate maladies.If we are to believe that these people are simply doing these things to report the truth' when in reality they are only attempting to sell' themselves to others as something they aren't then we are misguided in our own understanding that these people only care about themselves not the truth or the news.Sensationalism in journalism is not a new' fad it's been around for awhile and anyone who has an education can clearly see that Dirk (and others like him) are only out to provoke others to respond (as I have) so that they can further their own personal agenda of becoming more notorious then the next reporter'. Congrats, Dirk you enticed me to write this brief note so apparently, you've succeeded I hope you can sleep at night, knowing how damaging some of your comments are to others who really try to live according to a set of higher principles then the one's you apparently subscribe to.
