Oh I'm pretty sure I know caextly what Pierce wants. HE write:the conniving of the draft and the socialistic revenue schemes, and the desperate grab for any mechanism that will flatten out the differences between really good teams and really bad onesSilly me. I thought we played the NFL season to determine the good and bad teams. Obviously Pierce has different criteria in mind. I think what he wants is the NFL to be like baseball where the Yankees and Red Sox can wield financial advantages that keep most of the rest of flyover country out of the post-season conversation the vast majority of the time. Boston and New York are wealthier than a lot of other places, therefore their sports teams are better. Its the same reasoning behind our current eminent domain laws.
